How to win the physical and mental suffering due to spiritual practice (3) How to win

Hello and welcome back / AA this series of lessons drawn from the book of the XIV Dalai Lama "The road to true "edited by Jeffrey Hopkins (ed. Oscar Mondadori, 2009).

Having reviewed the four noble truths of Buddhist thought at the base (applicable to any religious belief ... about have applied the lessons of the first two years ?), Now let us see a crucial aspect of human existence, which is closely related to suffering: hurt. Or better

The benefits of consistent practice ethics, both secular and monastic, are considerable and are obtained through the principle of content, including:
  1. content of food (not necessarily mean to become vegetarians, because they do not do damage or get physical violence with alcohol or overeating)
  2. settle clothing (prefer the simplicity of avoiding waste of material goods, avoiding buy expensive clothes just to feel better!)
  3. settle the home (and avoid wasting money on sumptuousness in the home)
